About The Pitch

The Straight Pitch is a media relations, public relations and journalism blog edited by Jason Falls. It began in 2007 as a forum for sharing ideas on the world of public relations. As 2008 dawned and Falls’s attentions were diverted to the blossoming discipline of social media, The Straight Pitch evolved to become an aggregate of some of the top blog posts in the world of PR and journalism, with the occasional Jason Falls post sprinkled in.

All posts on The Straight Pitch not authored by Jason Falls are used with the original author’s permission.

“My hope is this blog will serve as a nice one-stop place to find links to interesting stories and blogs about the journalism and public relations industry,” Falls said. “It is built that way to allow our audience to subscribe to the feed or stop by frequently and see the latest, though-leading entries on PR and journalism out there.
