Weekly newspapers carry a special place in the vast array of media outets public relations professionals contact on behalf of their clients and organizations. While the many weekly publications have smaller audiences than daily operations, their readership is loyal and more apt to be influenced by its content.

Too long, too general.

Which are more helpful in your decision-making, press releases or fact sheets?
A little bit of both.

Do you prefer broad story ideas or pitches intended for specific segments, features or placement?
Those intended for our paper.

What else can PR professionals do to help you do your job?
Associated Press style-correct press releases. Too wordy or flowery will not get very far.
